Celebrating Blaze’s Journey to Walking Again!
Meet Blaze, an incredible 13-year-old pup whose courageous spirit and love for life have inspired everyone around him.
Blaze was first diagnosed with hip dysplasia in late 2023, and soon after, he began struggling with weakness in his back legs. Tasks like standing, walking, and even bathroom breaks became difficult—yet Blaze never stopped showing his determination to be part of every family adventure.
That’s when his family connected with Dr. Christine Woodford at VIPSvet, who stepped in with compassion, expertise, and a personalized rehabilitation plan. Through acupuncture, chiropractic care, and MAGNA Wave therapy, Blaze began regaining energy and mobility. Dr. Christine also guided his family toward diet changes to reduce inflammation and better support his overall health.
To boost his independence further, Dr. Christine recommended a mobility cart. With the teamwork of Blaze’s dedicated family and a specialized animal rehab team, “The Blaze Mobile” was built—and before long, Blaze was moving with new freedom and joy.
This summer, Blaze has amazed everyone by walking more and more on his own—sometimes even without the cart! He’s back to exploring, sniffing, and keeping up with his sister Molly, showing just how powerful persistence and the right care can be.
